We have proudly taken our namesake from the venerable Graystone Quarry located in the Almaden Valley of San Jose, California. The rock from The Graystone Quarry was used to construct numerous buildings in the Western U.S. throughout the nineteenth century, some of which include, Stanford University, San Francisco City Hall, The San Jose Library and Post Office as well as The Carson City Mint. For more than a century many of these buildings have stood tall and provided safety for countless people.
